As Social distancing continues to unfold, teenagers still need to be able to get their driver license.
Governor Kemp's new executive order says that teens must meet all driving requirements, but do not have to take a behind the wheel drivers test.
It is impossible to keep following social distancing laws when you are taking a road test. As a result, no one has to take it.
The department of driver services was to make getting a license non-stressful during this time.
Drivers must meet 40 hours of road work and have their parents sign off. There will also be a virtual test to test their knowledge. If you pass with a 75 or higher, your license will be mailed to your house.
Don’t wait too long to take the test, because the executive order is lifted in mid May.
